You are kindly invited to take part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “WAYS TO CONSERVE BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY OF NATURAL COMPLEXES”, aimed at highlighting issues of biodiversity conservation in Kazakhstan. The conference is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Altyn-Emel State National Natural Park and will be held on 03 April 2026.
The conference is organized by the Altyn-Emel State National Natural Park. Co-organizers are the Institute of Zoology of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Institute of Botany and Phytointroduction.
Purpose of the conference is to discuss current issues related to the study, protection and conservation of biological diversity; conservation and sustainable use of natural resources; application of modern monitoring methods; assessment of the condition and changes of natural complexes; and problems and issues related to the study of anthropogenic impacts on natural complexes.
The conference is planned to address the following thematic areas:
1) Biological sciences (UDC 57);
2) Biological diversity of flora and plant resources (UDC 58, 63);
3) Conservation and reproduction of wildlife (UDC 59);
4) Geological and geophysical sciences (UDC 55);
5) Current issues of nature management in the territory of Kazakhstan (UDC 502/504);
6) Geography. Biogeography. History (UDC 9).
Conference format: hybrid (offline and online). The online conference will be streamed via the ZOOM platform and on the official website of the Altyn-Emel State National Natural Park https://altynemel-park.kz/.
