Maratbek Zhaksibekovich is a leading scholar in the fields of biology, zoology, veterinary science, and parasitology.

Suleimenov’s main works are summarized in the monographs “Tort tulik mal parazitozdary” (“Parasitic Infections of the Four Types of Livestock”), “Sparavochnik po parazitozam sel’skokhozyaistvennykh zhivotnykh v Respublike Kazakhstan” (“Handbook on Parasitic Infections of Farm Animals in the Republic of Kazakhstan”), “Parazitozy zhivotnykh Kazakhstana” (“Animal Parasitoses of Kazakhstan,” Almaty, 2011), and the “Russko-kazakhsko-angliiskii tolkovyi slovar’ po veterinarnoy meditsine” (“Russian-Kazakh-English Explanatory Dictionary of Veterinary Medicine,” Almaty, 2010, 34 p.l.), among others. The books co-authored in 2014, “Estroz ovets” (“Sheep Oestrosis”) and “Russko-kazakhskii slovar’ po parazitologii” (“Russian-Kazakh Dictionary of Parasitology”), received a Diploma of laureateship at a Russian exhibition as the best educational-methodological publication in the field.
