Researchers from the Institute of Zoology participated in the International Scientific and Practical Conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Aksu-Zhabagly State Nature Reserve.
At the anniversary celebration, A.B. Yeszhanov, General Director of the Institute of Zoology, congratulated the reserve and presented it with camera traps.
A.F. Kovshar, P.A. Esenbekova, A.A. Grachev, S.V. Titov, E.S. Chalikova and E.R. Baidavletov also attended the event to congratulate their colleagues on the reserve’s centenary.
Aksu-Zhabagly is not only Kazakhstan’s first nature reserve, but also a unique natural area that has become an important site for long-term scientific research and wildlife monitoring.
The reserve’s century-long history is a story of biodiversity conservation, scientific discoveries and the work of several generations of specialists who have dedicated themselves to studying and protecting nature.
We wish the staff of the Aksu-Zhabagly State Nature Reserve new scientific discoveries, successful research and further achievements in conserving Kazakhstan’s unique natural heritage!
